One of the many distinctives of Wittenberg 2017 is that it is a collaborative venture of laypeople working alongside with local leaders of churches, synagogues, and ministries. This is purposeful and strategic. We believe a Spirit-initiated, grass-roots approach holds great potential for creating a transformative movement.

International Council

The International Council of Wittenberg 2017 has three responsibilities:
+ Protect the unity and vision of the initiative + Be a sign or symbol of reconciled diversity at work + Hear and submit to the Lord’s voice together |
Cooptiert / Special Representatives

The International Council has delegated implementation of the vision is delegated to various working groups across the US and Europe. These working groups are all volunteers, with no employees or full-time staff.
